Can LUNGE shoes be individually customized?
Individual customization is generally possible. In fact, LUNGE shoes prove to be extremely easy to adjust. However, we cannot offer this service ourselves and recommend contacting a specialist orthopedic and shoe technology company for such requests. They will be very familiar with the materials we use.
Many of our retailers throughout Germany are already active in the field of orthopedics and shoe technology and can therefore offer our product range as well as accommodate your individual customization requests and needs. You can find some of our most prominent partners in orthopedic shoe technology here . These are service partners who also perform resoling for us and thus work with our shoes on a daily basis.
Are the running models suitable for walking?
All running shoes are of course also suitable for walking. The breathable mesh upper keeps feet cooler, especially in warmer climates, than denser synthetic leather or leather.
Are the walking models also suitable for jogging?
Walking shoes are only suitable for fast running to a limited extent. While the soles are the same as those of running shoes, the upper material is very dense, causing the feet to sweat much more quickly during a run.
What does the term sustainability mean at LUNGE?
We prioritize durable materials and high-quality workmanship. Therefore, resoling LUNGE shoes is worthwhile. The upper is often still fully functional even when the sole shows the first signs of wear after many kilometers of running.
Because the sole and upper must be firmly glued together to withstand constant stress and not fall apart, the "Cradle to Cradle" process is not possible for our products.
How do I best care for my LUNGE shoes?

Is it possible to waterproof LUNGE shoes?
Yes. You can safely treat the shoes with any commercially available shoe waterproofing product to make them water-repellent and suitable for bad weather. However, this will not make them completely waterproof.
Are LUNGE shoes also suitable for orthopaedic insoles?
Yes, absolutely! All our shoes have a footbed that has been intentionally made larger to accommodate orthotic inserts. Any type of modification can easily be carried out on our shoes by a qualified technician. Talk to your orthotist or orthopaedic shoemaker about the possibilities.
Are LUNGE shoes vegan?
With the exception of our leather modelsClassic Walk S Leather , Derby Walk S Leather and Derby Walk MidCut S Leather, all our shoes are completely vegan.

You can easily search for specialist shops near you on our dealer map .
How do I know if my dealer has a specific model in stock?
The availability of individual items is best checked directly with the retailer. All our specialist retailers can easily and quickly order shoes for you to try on (subject to availability). Comfort shoe retailers can also reorder our running shoes. Naturally, we will take back any shoes they don't need.
Shop & Ordering Process
I would like to return the shoes I ordered. What do I do?
Should you find that your ordered shoes do not fit or that you do not like them, you have the option of returning them easily and free of charge.
You can obtain a free DHL shipping label for your return here . Please note that the relevant links to the forms for international customers can be found further down on the linked page.
Once your return arrives and has been checked, we will refund the invoice amount or the difference via the original payment method.
Please note that your shoes must be in perfect, like-new, and unused condition to be returned. Therefore, if you are unsure whether you will keep the shoes you ordered, please limit your fitting to wearing them indoors.
Can I exchange the shoes?
To exchange an item, please place a separate order and return the unwanted items. This ensures that your replacement item is actually available. Furthermore, the exchange process can be completed more quickly, as both processes can run simultaneously.

Manufactory
Is it possible to visit the factory?
Our factory, located in a historic, former cowshed in Düssin, Mecklenburg, is a production facility and development center where our sole focus is on the meticulous craftsmanship of our shoes. Therefore, we are unable to receive visitors.
Is there a factory outlet at your location in Düssin?
No, we do not offer factory sales at our factory in Düssin and cannot receive visitors. Instead, we would like to refer you to our online shop and our local retailers . These include our Lunge running stores in Hamburg and Berlin.
